Russian wrestler gets choked unconscious, still wins his match

Roman Vlasov managed to advance and win the gold medal, too

The reigning Olympic champion is usually a good bet in most events, and Roman Vlasov has won the gold medal again in 2016.

There was a moment in his semifinal match, though, where it looked like that might not happen. The main reason being that he was, like, unconscious and stuff. Somehow they allowed the match to continue and he still managed to win and advance. Vlasov beat Mark Overgaard of Denmark in the gold medal match.

Although it's possible he doesn't know that yet.
