'Thursday Night Football' live stream 2016: How to watch Broncos vs. Chargers online

Twitter streaming is back for the "Thursday Night Football" showdown between the Broncos and Chargers. Come watch the game live with us with our Twitter stream.

The struggling San Diego Chargers will play host to the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 6 in the NFL. The game will be broadcast on CBS and the NFL Network on television. A live stream will be available online via Twitter, with a link here.

Denver is 4-1 and is coming off its first loss of the season, falling to the high-powered offense of Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. Rookie first-round pick Paxton Lynch made the start at quarterback due to injuries to Trevor Siemian, and he had an up-and-down performance.

Lynch completed 23 of 35 passes for 223 yards with one touchdown and an interception. He also was sacked six times. Whether he starts against the Chargers depends on Siemian, who is dealing with a shoulder injury to his non-throwing arm.

But whoever goes will be facing the 23rd-ranked defense in the league. San Diego is riding a three-game losing skid and their only win of the season came against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. They already have losses to the rival Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs, who are both expected to be more competitive in the division than the Chargers.

As a result, San Diego head coach Mike McCoy seems to be on the hot seat. A loss to the Broncos might not be enough to do it, but it certainly won't help him keep his job. If they lose to the Broncos, they have the tough Falcons -- who just beat the Broncos -- and then the Broncos again right after that. It could be a rough stretch for the Chargers.
