Russell Wilson has been known to find improbable success at times when it looks like disaster is about to strike. Like last year in the playoffs when he fumbled a snap and yet managed to turn a sure 20-yard loss into a 35-yard gain.
It may still only be the preseason, but Wilson is already frustrating defenses with his ability to escape disaster.
Spinning around in the pocket is never a great idea. Wilson does it twice. He also retreats from the 13-yard line to nearly the 30-yard line. That is the type of play that usually ends in a 15-yard loss and the home crowd booing. For Wilson, it ends in a touchdown.
Russell Wilson is still the most infuriating quarterback to defend.
