High schooler throws down vicious tomahawk dunk that will make everyone, but this poor defender, scream

The Olympics just ended and the start of the NBA season is still months away. This stretch is typically a dark, lonely time of the year for basketball having highlight withdrawals. Fortunately, high schooler Jordyn Adams filled the void and gifted us a dunk that we could watch on repeat until the NBA season tips.

Prepare yourself, this posterization isn't for the faint of heart:

Adams loaded that tomahawk dunk up and floated in the air for what seems like minutes. All just setting the stage for the poor defender in a red sweatshirt to come up on the very wrong end of this highlight.

At this point it seems like things are going south, but maybe not all was lost for young Mr. red sweatshirt.

And then seconds later, it was clear that terrible, unspeakable things had occurred.

Baron Davis, who once did this to Andrei Kirilenko, probably thinks this dunk was disrespectful.

Vince Carter, who once did this to Alonzo Mourning, probably agrees.

There are dunks and then there are "HOLY $&*%!" dunks. We usually have to wait for the NBA and college basketball to start for the latter. Fortunately Jordyn Adams was born and now we have this. I know more goes into college recruiting than one dunk, but if I were a college basketball coach I'd offer Adams a scholarship right now, just to ensure he doesn't embarrass my entire team one day.
