Diana Taurasi splashes US Olympic-record 6 threes, Angel McCoughtry hits 360 layup in win over Serbia

Another big win for Team USA.

Team USA won with ease again in pool play, this time taking down Serbia 110-84. They've now scored more than 100 points in each of their three games, winning by a margin of 131 points. That's nearly 44 points per game. This shouldn't be too much of a surprise for the team looking for its sixth consecutive Olympic gold.

Diana Taurasi had another early start, sinking four three-pointers in the first quarter. She then set a United States Olympic record when she swished her sixth three early in the third quarter, breaking a record she had already set. She tied that record earlier this week against Senegal. It's been a good week to watch the Mercury legend.

Angel McCoughtry then summed the Americans' time in Rio when she finished a wide-open layup 360 layup at the end of the fourth quarter. She finished with 13 points and 4 rebounds off the bench.

Team USA gets Canada next on Friday.
