NHL Awards 2016: Hockey heads to Las Vegas to hand out some hardware

Who will take home the biggest prizes?

The 2016 NHL Awards show returns to Las Vegas on Wednesday night to dole out each of the league's major awards.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 22 from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Eleven major league awards, plus other announcements, will be announced at the event. The NHL will also reveal the cover athlete for EA Sports' NHL 17 video game. It'll either be St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko or San Jose Sharks captain Joe Pavelski.

Entertainment duties will be taken care of by Lego Batman . Will Arnett (Lego Batman, Arrested Development) will host the event for the first time.
