Buster Posey had a walkoff single against the Dodgers on Saturday, but that was the second-most impressive thing the Giants catcher did that evening. The best thing Posey did was actually unintentional, but still impressive.
At the bottom of the first inning, Posey swung so hard on pitch that he lost his gip and his bat went flying behind him. Luckily the netting behind home plate literally caught it. The bat was splayed between the netting, almost as though Posey thought he was in a shot put competition. This is almost as cool as a bat flip, though a homer or at least a hit would have it a whole lot better.
