Points don't exist in the playoffs, Mike!
Playoff hockey is a different beast than regular season hockey. For one, no shootouts! No 3-on-3 overtime for that matter. Even more so, points in the standings literally do not matter in the slightest when teams are racing for 16 wins to hoist the Stanley Cup trophy.
Yet, NBC hockey analyst Mike Milbury seemingly does not know the rules of the sport which he is covering.
Kathryn Tappen's exasperated "two big points" at the end there is all of us, honestly.
