Want to know what makes Kawhi Leonard so great? Watch this amazing defensive sequence

Kawhi Leonard is a special player not just because of his skill on both ends of the court, but the terrifying way he carries it out. This defensive play in Thursday's marquee showdown against the Cavaliers is a perfect example.

The Cavaliers already tried running two pick and rolls designed to force the Spurs to switch Leonard off LeBron James. Finally, on the third try, they got young Kyle Anderson to bite, much to Leonard's chagrin. He is so competitive that he never wants anyone else to guard LeBron under any circumstances. He lets Anderson know, even if it means losing his new assignment for a split second.

LeBron, noticing this, swings the ball to the open Richard Jefferson. Jefferson looks like he has a driving lane, only to see Leonard recover at light speed to swat away his shot.

Kawhi Leonard really does ruin everything.
