NHL Tuesday: Blackhawks win 12th straight as Montreal drops out of playoff race

Chicago and Montreal continue to head in opposite directions.

Hockey players jump on and off the bench so often you'd think they'd have the process down to an exact science.

Apparently not. When a goal for the Calgary Flames was waived off by referees in the second period against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, Flames forward Matt Stajan was super prepared to jump back on the ice and try again.

He might've been a little too eager, though.

Just look at coach Bob Hartley's face. He's not going to forget that image anytime soon. And since the camera only caught the fall, we can only assume Stajan was swallowed by a giant hole in the earth and never reappeared. RIP.
