The Miami Heat are already missing Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic, so they can't afford any more injuries. That's why this sequence involving Hassan Whiteside was very troubling.
The Heat center doubled over in pain as he went to set a screen against the Wizards and laid on the ground for a long time as teammates attended to him. He eventually got up holding his lower back and gingerly made his way to the locker room. The Heat say he suffered a strained left oblique and his return is questionable, but he's yet to return to the game thus far.
