Billy Garrett won it for the Blue Demons with a clutch and-one drive to the rim.
DePaul was down two against Marquette with five seconds left when junior point guard Billy Garrett Jr. put his head down and drove to the basket. Garrett improbably finished through contact, got the foul call, and made the free throw to give DePaul the win.
DePaul doesn't get much positive publicity, so enjoy this one, Blue Demons. Start construction of that Billy Garrett statue on the quad ASAP.
