Alex Ovechkin ties the game for the Capitals in the only way he can, with a dazzling goal

We expect nothing less from Washington's captain.

Despite giving goaltender Braden Holtby the hook halfway through the game, Alex Ovechkin has given the Capitals a chance with two goals in a 3-3 game against the Lightning. His first of the two wasn't much more than tapping a rebound past Ben Bishop. His second goal, however, is where he really shines.

It's hard to be an effective defender when Ovechkin can pull from dozens of moves in his arsenal. This time, Ovechkin pulled off a sick toe drag around the defenseman before going back to the forehand and slipping one glove side past Bishop.

Ovechkin's two goals gave the Capitals life, and since then Washington has taken a 4-3 lead on Tampa Bay.
